Where is Stripling's sausage made?

Stripling's sausage is made in Moultrie, Georgia, where our family business has been producing sausage and Southern specialty foods for generations.

Our sausage is produced in our USDA-inspected processing facility, where our team continues the hands-on approach that has defined Stripling's since 1964.

We make our famous whole-hog country sausage by purchasing whole hogs that are slaughtered and processed in-house. Using the hot-boning process, we produce sausage within hours, helping preserve the fresh flavor and texture customers have come to expect from Stripling's.

From our facility in South Georgia, Stripling's sausage continues to be made with the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and Southern heritage that built our reputation more than 60 years ago.

What makes Stripling's sausage different?

Stripling's sausage is a true taste of Southern craftsmanship.

Unlike many modern sausage producers who rely on boxed trimmings and pre-processed meat, we start with whole hogs that are slaughtered and processed in-house. Our skilled butchers break down each animal and produce sausage in small batches, allowing us to maintain complete control over the quality of the meat.

Because we process the hogs ourselves, we're able to make our sausage within hours using the lost art of hot boning, where the meat is processed while it is still warm. This technique helps preserve the natural tenderness and deep flavor of the pork.

This process is far more labor-intensive than modern sausage production, but it's the reason Stripling's sausage still delivers the flavor and texture customers expect. Combined with our signature seasoning blend perfected over generations, the result is a bold, savory country sausage that reflects the craftsmanship and care behind the Stripling's name.

Who raises Stripling's meat?

Stripling's does not raise livestock ourselves. Instead, we work with trusted livestock suppliers and brokers who source hogs and cattle from farms and ranches that meet our quality standards.

For our famous whole-hog country sausage, we purchase whole hogs from local and regional farmers that are brought to our facility where they are slaughtered and processed in-house. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain close control over the quality of the meat from start to finish.

Our beef is sourced through the Certified Angus Beef program, which ensures cattle meet strict standards for marbling, tenderness, and overall quality.

By sourcing carefully and handling the slaughter and sausage production ourselves, we're able to maintain the craftsmanship, consistency, and flavor our customers expect from the Stripling's name.

How do you ensure quality and consistency across every product?

At Stripling's, quality isn't just a goal, it's a guarantee. For more than 60 years, we've built our reputation on authentic Southern flavor and handcrafted products made to the highest standards.

From our famous whole-hog country sausage and small-batch beef jerky to every jar of jam or jelly we carry, every product must meet the standards behind the Stripling's name.

We work with trusted meat suppliers and brokers who source high-quality pork and beef that meet our specifications, and our skilled team, including experienced butchers, handles the processing in-house with the same careful approach that built our reputation.

Through regular quality checks and product reviews, we make sure that everything we sell reflects the flavor, consistency, and quality our customers have trusted for generations.
